One of the country’s biggest music conferences and festivals will be returning to Manchester for the second year in a row next week.
Amongst some of the big names and industry leaders to be taking part in panel discussions will be Moston rapper Aitch, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly musician Sam Duckworth, Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, author Grace Blakeley, neo-jazz singer Ni Maxine, composer Richard Jacques, music executive Michael Adex, and Culture Secretary and Wigan MP Lisa Nandy.
Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s Beyond The Music event - including how to get tickets, where events will be hosted, and what is going on.You can buy Festival Tickets here to access the live music shows and takeovers. Starting from £8, these are available as a per-gig or a per-day option - with discounts for students, NHS workers and Blue Light card holders.
Thursday highlights will include a welcome networking session hosted by Bev Craig, Leader of the City of Manchester, at 9.30am, followed by a keynote from Warner Music UK's Tony Harlow and music executive Michael Adex at 10.45am. These are: Night & Day, Peer Hat, Aatma, Castle, Gullivers, Band on the Wall Bar, Soup, Disorder, Off The Square, 33 Oldham St and Matt & Phreds.
