Ben Youngs has all but written off England’s chances of victory against the world champion Springboks when the teams clash at Twickenham in November.
The Roses appear to be on a positive trajectory under the stewardship of Steve Borthwick, and finished third in the 2024 Six Nations before showing fight during their July tour to New Zealand. Speaking on the For The Love Of Rugby podcast with fellow England international Dan Cole and two-time world cup winner Handré Pollard, Youngs rated his countrymen’s upcoming opponents while praising the strength of the Boks.
