SYDNEY, N.S. - The Breton Education Centre Bears, Riverview Ravens and Sydney Academy Wildcats were successful in picking up Cape Breton High School Soccer League wins on Wednesday.Ryan Wadden continued his offensive dominance with five goals, while Luc Sampson chipped in with two goals. Marcus Kelly added a single marker for the Ravens.In other boys' play, Sydney Academy defeated Breton Education Centre 4-2 at MacKinnon Memorial Field in New Waterford.
Noah Hutchison-Mills found the back of the net twice, while Cole Hutchison-Mills and John Mills also found the back of the net for the Wildcats.Meanwhile, in girls' action in New Waterford, BEC downed Sydney Academy 5-1. Taylor Wilson and Taylor Hurley both scored twice while Hanna Pastuck also recorded a goal for the Bears.In junior varsity girls' play, Riverview dropped the Memorial Marauders 5-1 at Memorial High School Field in Sydney Mines.
Keira Fuller, Madelyn MacGillivary, Rhysa Marinelli, Bella Andrea, and Gracy Smith each fired home goals for the Ravens.Cape Breton High School Soccer League action continues on Thursday.
