fiction author is set to host an event in Newton Mearns to celebrate the release of his new book.
Barry Hutchison, otherwise known as JD Kirk, will be at Waterstones in The Avenue Shopping Centre on Tuesday, July 18, from 7pm until 8pm. The author will be there to discuss his new and upcoming book, which is the seventh instalment of the DCI Jack Logan series, In Service of Death. JD Kirk said: “In Service of Death explores the grim memories that plague those who’ve experienced the horrors of war, and what happens when those atrocities follow them home.
“As usual, Jack Logan’s story is fraught with darkness and terror, but the team remains full of heart and the dark humour that readers have come to expect, and that has allowed this series to become such a success.”
