Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Wayne Arendse has called on the team to turn Loftus into a slaughterhouse against minnows La Passe. Read more ➡️

Sundowns are set to play host to Seychellois side La Passe at Loftus Versfeld on Friday in the second leg of their CAF Champions League Second Qualifying Round encounter.Masandawana hold an insurmountable 7-0 advantage from the first leg and former defender Wayne Arendse, who was part of the club's 2016 Champions League-winning squad, has called on the team to inflict more pain on their opponents in order to send a message to other clubs in the competition.

"They scored seven goals and showed the proper attitude and at the same time you are sending a message, because when you are playing the top teams, your Al Ahly's or whoever they are, and they came to Loftus, they must know that this is a slaughterhouse," Arendse said in the latest episode of"We scored seven, next week we're scoring five or four the last weekend, those sorts of things.

"So, it's a proper attitude going into any game, and I think big ups to the boys who played and scored seven goals, and I'm sure we're likely to see much more over the weekend."
