Podcast alert: Apple wanted to make a comfortable AR experience but left us with an eye-watering price tag
At WWDC this year, Apple teased what a lot of us were expecting: a virtual reality headset. What was perhaps a bit of a surprise, or perhaps not, was the eye-watering $3,500 price tag, that it looks like Ready Player One cosplay, and it has a two-hour battery hanging off it.
What to make of it all? Is the power pack annoying? What software will run on it? While a lot of cool tech has being packed into the hardware, who are even for?
