ANC's Potgieter says the party finds itself in a situation where it has to adapt or die.
The African National Congress National Executive Committee member Febe Potgieter -Gqubule says the party finds itself in a situation where it has to adapt or die.
Breakaway parties like the MK Party, a low voter turnout, and the state of the organisation were some of the reasons cited for the party’s poor performance. “Because we accept as a National Executive Committee that we have to adapt or perish. Adapt in a sense that it is simply not about repeating all the things we have said but in a genuine way looking at how you modernise an organisation that’s 112-years-old, but exists in today’s movement in a country that has changed.
Godlimpi also addressed the media, saying the dialogue is expected to comprise a broad array of stakeholders.
