The one thing they would not leave behind was the 1977 Pinto which the three of them loved so dearly. I could not understand the rationale, but they were old car people. The ’77 Pinto, meanwhile, sat in the garage, a project that Aaron and Emily were working on together, of which Aaron and Jolene were going to gift to Emily on completion. Thus, the name of the car is “Emily.” Jolene’s cherished Christmas village which her parents put up the day of her birthday in November 2020 and left on display for 15 months. They plan to put it up again in time for this Christmas. - Contributed
