This classic winter storm will feature bitterly cold temperatures and accumulating snow to its north, with spring-like warmth and a threat for severe thunderstorms to its south.
A powerful jet stream developing over the nation’s midsection will force a robust low-pressure system to develop over the southern Plains on Friday.
