Following the accident, Woods battled to recover after ankle surgery and has also struggled with long-term back injuries over the same period.In fact, Woods had a sixth back operation of his career in September in an attempt to alleviate back spasms that have been evident in his limited appearances on the golf course in 2024. Since the car crash, Woods has only played 10 events in total.
Despite his injuries, Woods did manage to compete in all four majors this year - the first time he managed the feat since the accident. His results, however, were a far cry from anything impressive as he missed three cuts with a best finish of 60th coming atin April. The only event outside the majors he played was at the Genesis Invitational in February, but he withdrew after the first round.
