Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has reacted to Mamelodi Sundowns being crowned champions over the weekend. SLSiya Read more:
Sundowns were crowned champions for the sixth consecutive season, with seven matches to spare and without being in action, after SuperSport United were held to a 1-1 draw by Chippa United.
"Ja, I would say congrats to them, they've done very well, they've been playing good football," Zwane said in a press conference. "And ja, as time goes we will be a different team, we'll also be a difficult team to play against. Ja, well done to Sundowns, with us we'll take it one game at a time," he said.
Chiefs nearly squandered a two-goal lead against ten-men Stellies and 'Mangethe' admitted that they almost dropped two points, as the battle for a second-place finish hots up.
