Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane was delighted with the impact new signing Christian Saile Basomboli made on his debut against Royal AM.
The Congolese striker started on the bench but replaced top scorer Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana ten minutes into the second half.Salie did make his presence felt as he grabbed the assist for Ashley du Preez's goal, which sealed the win in the 85th minute."We were so much aggressive, we gave them no space, we were pressing them, we knew that we'll win that midfield battle, we just needed to be a little bit aggressive going forward," he explained.
"And also conceding goals we shouldn't have, sometimes sloppy defending let us down but when you look at the games this season we were just unfortunate not to win most of them, even that game against Sundowns. "But I'm happy for the boys more than me, don't worry about me, I've always been in this game, as long as we do the job, we know what's the plan, it's about that, it's about the future of this club," he added.
