Kaizer Chiefs have resorted to bringing players for what they refer to as assessments in their search for new foreign signingsArthur Zwane has defended the club's approach of recruiting players following an influx of trialists instead of employing a modern scouting system.
"We wanted to monitor them closely and be sure about what we are doing because you can see a player performing elsewhere on footage yet that was two years ago, yet it will be presented as if it is happening right now. "If he is a striker, they will only show him scoring goals and only his one versus ones if he is a defensive midfielder, but you don’t see many other aspects that can make the player come and add value.
