AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu has given an update on one of the club's first-team players who is reportedly refusing to leave the club.
Usuthu acquired former South Africa Under-17-star Mswati Mavuso on a free transfer earlier in the year in February.Though the Nelspruit-born player failed to make a single appearance last season during his short-term deal, the KwaZulu-Natal club offered the player a two-year extension.
According to sources close to the situation, the club are hoping the player accepts a six-month pay-off."But yes, he is still a player at AmaZulu. "He is on the way, we will update you once he is here, but he is currently on the way to South Africa. "It's still not easy to travel from Niger to South Africa, there is no direct flight.
