“We wish to report that according to our investigation, the truck driver is a foreign national, Mr N Mbedezi, a 37-year-old from Zimbabwe.“The truck belongs to Pangolin Logistics.” The village of Van Reenen sits atop the pass and the two nearest towns are Ladysmith and Harrismith, situated in the KwaZulu-Natal and Free State provinces, respectively.Avoid loud music, as it can distract you while driving.Inspect your vehicle, including checking your car tyres, fluids, and wiper blades to ensure they are working.Check all mirrors, headlights and turn signals.Listen to road or traffic updates on the radio while travelling.
