The actress was up against stiff competition in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category which included, Laura Linney , Melanie Lynskey , Sandra Oh and Reese Witherspoon . Zendaya said she was 'honoured' to be beside the 'incredible actresses' in her category. At this year's Emmys she nominated for a record-breaking four awards in total which included a nod for her role as executive producer, making her the youngest executive producer to ever be nominated. She was also nominated for writing original lyrics featured in the show for 'I'm Tired' and 'Elliotts Song'.
