Zendaya addresses absence after skipping Golden Globes following last year's backlash
Zendaya has spoken out about her absence from last night’s Golden Globes after the star won another award for her role of Rue in Euphoria.
“I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to be there tonight, but I just wanted to say thank you to @goldenglobes for this incredible honor,” she wrote alongside a black and white snap of her character Rue. The star has since been inundated with congratulatory messages, with Euphoria co-star Maude Aptow leading them.
Another Golden Globe winner to be absent from last night’s festivities is Amanda Seyfried, who won Best Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or TV Movie for The Dropout.
