Last year, the Colts’ Quenton Nelson, 27, signed a four-year contract extension worth $80 million. Nelson is a five-time Pro Bowler with three All-Pros on his résumé. And this summer, the Falcons’ Chris Lindstrom, 26, also signed an extension, five years, worth $105.2 million. Lindstrom, a 2019 first-round pick, was named to his first Pro Bowl last season.. When you get named to an All-Decade team that basically guarantees a Hall of Fame gold jacket.
Martin’s representatives presented the Cowboys a contract proposal that wouldn’t disrupt his cap figures, , too much. The proposal takes into account pending new contracts for Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs. So if Martin decides to pay the training camp fines and miss the Week 1 regular-season opener, Chuma Edoga or maybe Matt Farniok will start against the New York Giants.
