THUNDER BAY —Thunder Bay Police have charged a 17-year-old youth with the armed robbery of a resident of Court Street North.

Officers responding to a report of a weapons incident were told a teen had entered a residence while in possession of a firearm, and made demands for money from a male victim.Police later recovered the weapon and found it was a replica.The 17-year-old, who was arrested within minutes after police arrived, is charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and failure to comply with an undertaking.
