George acts suspiciously in a Young Sheldon season 6, episode 10 clip when he skips spending time with his family. The Big Bang Theory spin-off has just returned from its mandatory winter break, and it seems like it is zeroing in on the family patriarch's arc. After reclaiming his old job back at Medford High School, he encountered an unusual problem when he was forced to work with Pastor Rob — Mary's old co-worker and her one-time crush.

What makes this clip interesting is the way George conducts himself while speaking to his wife. The fact that Mary seems to believe that things are still well in their marriage as it has been the last few weeks makes George's potential lie more heartbreaking. It could very well be the start of his infidelity.
Given the current timeline of The Big Bang Theory prequel, George's cheating scandal should happen anytime soon. The show may have even secretly laid the groundwork for it. However, considering the way Young Sheldon season 6 is shaping up, it may not come to fruition this year. Instead, it may be something that CBS is saving for season 7, which is already confirmed. It also fits with the network's attempt to delay this incident for as long as possible.
George's decision to finally give into his urges and seek out an extra-marital affair may have something to do with the return of Pastor Rob, who has already impacted his marriage. Now, the young church counselor is stealing George’s thunder at work, which is the only thing that he could claim as truly his. Pastor Rob's involvement fueled George's insecurities in the Young Sheldon season 6 winter premiere, motivating him to seek validation in the arms of another woman.
