Rachel described the heartbreaking moment when her son said to her 'mummy I don't want to lose you'.
A young cancer survivor who lived with the fear the disease would return has opened up after her worst nightmare became reality.
She was dealt another blow in June after a third tumour which contained three small spots of cancer was found, reports Glasgow Live. "My life was back to normal but I had this fear hanging over me. When it came back in March, it felt surreal. The third time, I felt like my head was going. "I try to keep myself busy because you can get quite intrusive thoughts. It’s really hard to live with."
"I am just sitting here thinking I’ve got to wait around for cancer to come back and for it to be incurable or spread. Not doing anything doesn’t sit right with me. Rachel said: "There’s nothing to say it definitely would save my life but that’s the same as treatment you get in the UK. It’s taking a risk but why would you not take it?
