At just 25 years old, Babalwa has made significant strides in promoting gender equality and empowering young women through cricket in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.
Despite an early retirement from professional play due to a back injury, Babalwa's passion for the sport didn't wane. Instead, she shifted her focus to coaching, becoming a pivotal figure at the Cricket South Africa Khayelitsha hub and the Gary Kirsten Foundation.
