The clip filmed in Edinburgh has went viral on social media as viewers have been left appalled at the scene.
An eyewitness told the Daily Record that the young boy was sitting next to his mum with a disposal vape in his hand and took multiple puffs over several minutes on a Lothian Bus in Wester Hailes.
The witness said they were "absolutely furious" at what they saw and have now reported it to the authorities. The child is understood to be of nursery age. The mum was reportedly confronted by one passenger on the bus as they got off and claimed she did not notice her son vaping as she 'had a cold' and 'couldn't smell it'.
