It has been only a few months since McKenney ran for mayor of the city on a campaign of making the city green, expanding public transit and cycling paths, and increasing public housing and social services. McKenney’s announcement of the formation of CitySHAPES reflects their determination to ignore the democratic choice of voters and impose their views on the city.
