Here are today\u0027s Ottawa Sun letters to the editor.
Good on you Leslyn Lewis for standing your ground after meeting with German EU politician Christine Anderson. Your boss, Pierre Poilievre, bowed to the mob when he asked all three MPs to apologize for their luncheon with Anderson.Sign up to receive daily headline news from the Ottawa SUN, a division of Postmedia Network Inc.By clicking on the sign up button you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.
The Conservatives need to grow a spine, otherwise they will continue to run second fiddle to the Grits. Perhaps it would have been better if Ms. Lewis had won the leadership.Immigration is meant to bring families, singles and couples that are skilled, educated or both to strengthen the Canadian economy, help out in their professions, and improve our way of life. The immigration program 100 years old had purpose, but it now seems to be losing its purpose as this government is ignoring it.
Refugees are a different story. That is where we share our surplus with as many as we can, when we can. Displaced people from war-torn countries or those in genocide situations. Take a look at the purpose, Mr. Immigration Minister Fraser. Maybe read the manual, or did you change it without telling anyone? Wake up, government!Kudos to the Ottawa Senators players. Not just for the winning run they have been on lately, but for what they do after the games for the kids. Not sure who started it, but I love the fact that when they give a stick or puck away they point to the child who it should go to. It used to be some adult would jump up, grab it and take off.
