Robert McMillan, a Stratford potter, is recovering from losing everything in a fire that destroyed his business in a major fire on Mason Road in October. - Drew BloksbergSTRATFORD, P.E.I. — For Robert McMillan, his pottery studio and business were his life.

Working out of a small, make-shift studio he has set up in his home and with the help of many people, he is determined to recreate the business he holds so dear. The fire broke out on Oct. 17, in the 18,000-square-foot building on Mason Road where McMillan’s business was located. The other major tenant was the P.E.I. Reach Foundation. Multiple fire departments responded, but the building was gutted.

Todd MacLean, a P.E.I. entertainer, and Matt Clendinning, the owner of The Lucky Bean cafes in Montague and Stratford, put the fundraiser together.
