House Democrats have pledged to reduce prescription drug prices.
New Jerseyans paid an estimated $63 a month for insulin in 2016, a price that had grown 90% from $33 just four years before.
The vote was 232-193, with only 12 Republicans voting yes. One of them was Rep. Chris Smith, R-4th Dist., who joined all 10 New Jersey Democrats in supporting the bill. Rep.
