Where is 'The Circle' Filmed?
While the show makes it seem like the show is filmed in the United States based on the different exterior shots that are shown in every episode, it actually isn't filmed in the US. Just like the original series, the show is filmed in Salford, England. The original series was also filmed there and, according toWhy would they use the same building as the UK version?
It's not too surprising to see the series being filmed in the UK, especially since the building is already created specifically for the show. With all the different camera, high tech equipment, and also the ability to keep all the contestants in separate apartments already existing, it probably was easier and cheaper for them to fly the contestants out for the series, rather than fix an entire building up for a new season.
