York County says there was a clerical error with some of its mail-in ballots.The error resulted in 400 residents receiving duplicate ballots.
The York County Office of Elections and Voter Registration is reaching out to affected voters with instructions on what to do with the duplicate ballot.The county said while it recognizes the significance of the error, it has multiple processes in place to make sure no one submits two votes.The Office of Elections said it will continue to review its internal processes to prevent such a mistake from occurring again.
