It doesn’t seem to be a good week for actress Simphiwe Ngema who was recently accused of visiting convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester in prison.
She said Bester's scam media company, 21st Century Group, which he ran from prison, had owed her for some events she was booked for.He seemed well connected and was able to organise meetings and big events that I and many other public figures were booked for. In 2018, I went to prison to demand answers; it was a difficult time in my life, and he owed me money.She added:
On the same day that Ngema was revealed as one of the celebrities who had visited Bester, a businessman who owns an interior design company also called her out for trying to use his services in return for likes and exposure. The man said Ngema had wanted him to collaborate with her in fixing her mother's kitchen that had burnt down.
