Following the Season 2 finale, it has been confirmed that a Yellowjackets bonus episode will premiere on Showtime ahead of Season 3.
“Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming-of-age drama, it tells the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness,” reads the series’ synopsis.
Yellowjackets is created and executive produced by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. Executive producers are Drew Comins, Karyn Kusama, and Jonathan Lisco, who is also serving as the showrunner.
