When Cassie Plummer joined the cast of Coronation Street, all the attention was on her relationship with her mum Evelyn and how she would get on with Tyrone , the son who’d never known her as his mum. But as Cassie has settled in to the Street, she’s found an unexpected niche in the Barlow family, and perhaps a place in the heart of Steve McDonald as well. Following his break-up with Tracy and her subsequent departure for Spain, poor Steve was left at a bit of a loss.
