The former Ross County man sees huge potential in Steven Naismith's Jambos after the first game of the season.

The midfielder made his competitive debut for the Tynecastle club in their goalless draw against Rangers. Dhanda hit the crossbar with a shot as the Gorgie side came close to sinking the Light Blues. The 25-year-old was asked if his club could challenge the Ibrox men and Celtic for the title, he told BBC : “Yes, definitely. I think we can go past the top two.

"I was excited for my first game for Hearts and, even more so, it was live on TV against Rangers. I’ve been looking forward to it for a long time. I’m a bit gutted we didn’t get the win, but I thought we played very well and that showed how good we are.”
