Xbox to look at a way to disable Quick Resume
Quick Resume allows the Xbox Series X|S consoles to keep games in a 'suspended' state when you're not playing them, effectively allowing you to continue playing from where you were the last time you played a game without having to fully boot it up again, even if you've played others since — much like how your phone keeps your apps open.
Taking to Twitter, user GabeTC said: “It’s amazing for a lot of games but when it tries to Quick Resume an online-only game it absolutely breaks it, and you have to manually quit. If only an option to disable it for such games existed.” The post gained the attention of Phil Spencer, who said:"Good feature ask, makes sense. We will put it on the list of things to look at."is the official place to request Xbox-platform features.
