We Have Ways Fest is co-hosted by the comedian and historian James Holland
A World War Two-themed festival hosted by Al Murray - based on his successful podcast We Have Ways of Making You Talk - will be held a short distance from Silverstone . We Have Ways Fest was launched last year by the comedian alongside bestselling author and broadcaster James Holland.
History buffs will have plenty to enjoy over the three-day weekend event that offers a combination of displays of military gear and historical talks. The schedule has attracted some of the very best speakers around, including award-winning bestselling historians Max Hastings, Rana Mitter and Alex Ritchie.The podcast has seen a massive 20 million downloads since its launch three years ago, Produced by Goalhanger Films, it has become one of the most popular podcasts in the UK, with more than 2.
A packed programme of arena demonstrations showcasing a huge range of Second World War tanks, military vehicles and hardware will take place, including a late-night firing session which is sure to make a few visitors jump. As the festival takes place next to a brewery, there will be plenty of delicious local craft beer to go around.
