Boeing Co. said it had enlisted victim-compensation attorney Kenneth Feinberg to distribute $50 million to communities affected by two crashes involving the 737 MAX.

The plane maker pledged $100 million last year to support families and communities affected by a Lion Air crash in waters near Jakarta, Indonesia, and an Ethiopian Airlines crash in Ethiopia. The accidents together killed all 346 people on board and led to the global grounding of the MAX.
