Here are some road closures near the Broadway Curve improvement project in Phoenix that will be in effect the week of March 25.
The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. on Wednesday night on SR 85 near milepost 149 south of Gila Bend.GILA BEND, Ariz — A late-night crash south of Gila Bend left a wrong-way driver dead and five others, including three children, in the hospital on Wednesday, DPS told 12News.
According to early reports, the crash happened in the northbound lanes of State Route 85 near milepost 149. A black sedan driving the wrong way crashed into another car carrying five passengers. The driver of the sedan died on the scene, DPS said. The five victims in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital where they're expected to recover.
