Wolf, still only 21 and certainly not slumping as a sophomore in the pro ranks, is proud of this perch, even if he refuses to take much individual credit. Wolf will be aiming to add to his win total as the Wranglers — currently occupying the top spot in the Pacific Division — welcome the Bakersfield Condors for back-to-back clashes Thursday and Friday at the Saddledome.
These mid-season showcases — typically defence-free affairs — can be tough on the twine-minders. Wolf joked that his save percentage in Monday’s three-on-three tournament will “probably be hideous.”“I don’t think he takes anything lightly,” Sigalet said. “He hates losing. He was so ticked off the other night after losing in overtime. He got three out of four points , and he just wasn’t satisfied.
