The BMW M4's sleek shape works perfectly as a Shooting Brake

and soon, the M3 Touring. We would also love to see BMW launch a Touring/Shooting Brake version of the M4, similar to what these renderings show.has been imagined by Sugar Design and morphs the M4 into a model that could be more practical while still retaining the same sleek design as the Coupe that we’re all familiar with.

To make the car look as sleek as possible, Sugar Design has removed the B-pillar, leaving the car with nothing but a sleek A-pillar that morphs into the thick C-pillar. Speaking of the C-pillar, it also features a small BMW M 50th anniversary badge. Completing the transformation from Coupe to Shooting Brake is a redesigned rear window, a subtle roof-mounted lip spoiler, and a revised tailgate.

Given how long it took BMW to finally bite the bullet and launch a Touring version of the M3 sedan, it is very unlikely that a variant of the anything like this will ever hit the market. While that’s a shame, we wouldn’t put it past a particularly skilled coachbuilder from making a car like this a reality.
