SA Forest Adventures has launched the K3 zipline, the longest in the world, located just outside Caledon in the Western Cape.
After years of planning, SA Forest Adventures has officially opened the world’s longest zipline, K3, outside Caledon in the Western Cape. Markedly, it surpasses the previous record-holder, Jais Flight in the UAE, by nearly 400 metres.SA Forest Adventures has conducted thorough planning and testing over several years. They recently concluded successful test flights before announcing that K3 is now ready to welcome guests.
There are only 24 spots available per day during the opening month. The entire adventure, including the zipline and the mountain ride takes approximately one hour.Depending on participants’ weight, the speed descending from the mountain peak could reach up to 120 km per hour. After about the first 200 metres the ground is approximately 500 metres below you.The K3 zipline is a few kilometres outside Caledon, a town in the Overberg region of the Western Cape.
