Beginning on June 23, World's Best will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+. The film centers around 12-year-old math genius, Prem, who finds his deceased father's notebook and realizes he's the son of hip-hop legend Suresh Patel. Determined to follow in Suresh's footsteps, Prem changes course to find out if he has what it takes to be a rap superstar.
Utkarsh Ambudkar & Manny Magnus Talk World's Best Screen Rant: What stood out to each of you about this story? Manny Magnus: I'd never rapped before this movie, but I've been singing since I was like 3, and I play a couple of instruments, so I have some musical experience. Utkarsh Ambudkar: Like I said, in middle school, I somehow found myself 3 years ahead in math, and I have done everything since to make sure I never have to use it in my life. I never took it in college. I think one of the reasons I went to acting school was just so I didn't have to do math. Honestly. I never had a taste for it and was never very particularly good at it—unless somebody who was good at it was sitting next to me in class, and I could see what they were doing.
