A World Cup security worker is in intensive care after a "serious fall" while on duty at the Lusail Stadium.
The worker is reportedly in a "stable but critical" condition and will continue to be paid while he is in recovery. The Lusail Stadium is Qatar's flagship arena and was one of several to be built explicitly for the 2022 World Cup. "He remains in a stable but critical condition. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this time, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
