With World Book Day around the corner, many retailers have an abundance of outfit options to choose from. World Book Day is an international, annual celebration of authors, illustrators, books and reading. It is celebrated in over 100 countries all over the world and involves activities and events organised by children's groups, nurseries and schools to encourage children's reading.
The event is usually held on the first Thursday in March and sees children across the world celebrating their favourite books, encouraging them to read. As well as dressing up, children also receive National Book Tokens to be redeemed against a selection of books or to get money off a full price book.
