“One employee was reported to be in the building where the explosion occurred but escaped without incident.”The blast occurred in the duct work in the roof of what’s called the dry house or brewing area of the distillery, with damage being confined to a large vessel and the duct work.A fire suppression system performed well and contained the blaze to where it started, though firefighters remained on scene to ensure safety, said the department.
The cause and exact origin of the fire are still under investigation and anyone with photos or video of the incident is asked to submit them to
