Buffalo City Metro workers discovered the body of a man under the rubble at Orient Beach, East London, on Thursday.

The body of a man was discovered under rubble at Orient Beach in East London on Thursday, the Buffalo City Metro said. It is suspected the body may be linked to the recent heavy rains that claimed the lives of two people and left at least 2 234 homeless in the East London area. Metro spokesperson Samkelo Ngwenya said the body was discovered by metro workers who were clearing up the rubble at the beach in partnership with Tidy Towns, a clean-up movement.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
