OC Transpo started to move trains between Hurdman and Lees stations Sunday afternoon, more than 72 hours after two trains became stuck in a freezing rainstorm, causing disruptions on the Confederation Line.
UPDATE: Customers may see trains travelling from Hurdman to Lees station to remove out of service trains and further testing. These trains will not be available for boarding. 1/2Speaking on Newstalk 580 CFRA's "CFRA Live with Andrew Pinsent" Sunday morning, the city's director of transit service delivery and rail operations, Troy Charter, said the focus is to get back to full service as quickly as possible, but it might not be done Sunday.
Charter said Saturday that keeping sustained R1 bus service into the workweek would likely lead to route cancellations and delays across other parts of the bus network.
