Admittedly, I’ve probably been stretching myself too far on these parlays to try to hit some home runs. Time to start taking the ball the other way and hit some singles and doubles to finish off the final two weeks of this challenge.Tyler Toffoli over 2.5 SOG + Elias Pettersson over 2.5 SOG
Tyler Toffoli has been a staple on these parlays, primarily because of his consistency. The Calgary Flames forward has exceeded this number in 10 of the previous 11 games. The Flames are in Ottawa tonight, continuing their east coast road trip. The Senators have allowed the 9th most shots on goal per game at home this season, while Calgary remains one of the best teams in the NHL at generating shot attempts away from home, averaging almost 64 per game.
Over his last five games, Toffoli is 3rd on the Flames in 5v5 shot attempts with 23, only trailing Michael Stone and Blake Coleman . However, neither of those players ahead of Toffoli gets power play time, which makes Toffoli a safer play.
