Women's Day: SA's horror violence keeps women shackled as second-class citizens - experts
South Africa needs to move towards putting preventative measures in place to deal with the threat of violence that women have to endure, instead of only focusing on punishing perpetrators once the crime has already been committed.
This is according to experts reflecting on the progress made in achieving gender equality as the country marks Women's Day.
