This year's nominees include Fefe Dobson, Charlotte Cardin, Tanika Charles, Domanique Grant, Jessia and more. The honours program celebrates successful industry members and artists across several categories including artist of the year, distinguished leader, entrepreneur of the year, excellence in live music, international leader of the year and organization of the year. A jury will vote on the long list nominees to determine who will be honoured in each category.
The honours reception dinner and awards presentation will be hosted by CBC's Saroja Coelho and feature performances by Dobson, Sacha, Liliane Chlela, Desirée Dawson and Tia Wood. Juno-winning singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame at the event, which takes place at the Opera House in Toronto.Anne Stirk
