A woman from Stirling has got her running shoes back on to complete the Scottish Half Marathon in memory of her beloved uncle.

Nicola Cannon, 41, along with her brother, will run the course on Sunday September 24 in memory of their “super clever” late Uncle Gordon, who lost his life aged 64, after a fall last September.

Nicola said: “He was the smartest person I knew and the sort of person to know something about everything. It is estimated that there are around 10,000 children and adults living with a condition in Scotland alone.
